News-WWE's Roman Reign Being diagnosed with leukemia
A huge news broke yesterday, one of the most loved WWE
superstar Roman Reigns is being diagnose with leukemia. The 33 years old
wrestler stated in an in this week’s Monday night’s RAW that his real name is Joe
Anoa’i. He had been living with leukemia for 11 years, since he was 22.
There was a time when a huge number of great WWE superstars
left the ring and it seemed like we won’t be able to see someone who can build
the hype it used to be. First there was a huge wave of new superstars that gave
the fan something to cheer for like Nexus led by Wade Barrette, Kofi Kingston
and others but it did not last long. Then WWE tried another team, I don’t think
they would’ve imagined how big it would have be. The team include Seth Rollins,
Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns. Each of the star had massive success playing
their individual role and the company came back to its strong position.
WWE released a statement that said, “Tonight on Monday Night
Raw, Roman Reigns [aka Joe Anoa’i] announced that he is relinquishing the WWE
Universal Championship and taking a leave of absence from WWE as he once again
fights leukemia, which had been in remission since late 2008. Reigns is taking
his battle with leukemia public in an effort to raise awareness and funds for
research in order to advance cures for the disease.”
Roman Reigns was the current WWE Universal Champion. From
WWE to the Martial Arts community, the whole world is reacting to this sad news
regarding roman reigns. There is no further news provided about the type of the
cancer or his treatment process but we will keep you updated.
We hope Roman Reigns is treated soon and he returns to his
rightful place in the ring.
